Fondation Louis Vuitton
Paris
A unique building that escapes the limits of conventional architecture. Designed by the famous architect Frank Ghery, its structure is reminiscent of a large sailing ship and it is made with 3,600 glass panels and 19,000 concrete panels. Its interior houses the private collection of the LVMH group president, Bernard Arnault, which includes works from artists like Pierre Huyghe, Ellsworth Kelly and Christian Boltanski among others. Furthermore, the Foundation organizes two temporary expositions per year (one for modern art and another for contemporary art) as well as cultural events such as concerts and conferences.
