Fundació Suñol

Fundació Suñol opened in 2007 when businessman Josep Suñol decided to share his private art collection with the public. Considered the best collection of contemporary art in Catalonia, it is made up of more than 1,200 works by more than 200 Spanish and international artists such as Warhol, Picasso, Miró, Dalí and Tàpies. The quality and coherence of the works that make up the collection provide a broad and representative view of the evolution of art from 1915 to 2006, emphasising the ’70s. In addition, in Nivell Zero, a space connected to the exhibition rooms, talks, concerts, conferences and workshops are held to promote the dissemination and creation of avant-garde art.
