The Palais de Tokyo (Tokyo Palace) is a building dedicated to modern and contemporary art, located at 13 avenue du Président Wilson (known as avenue Tokyo between 1915 and 1948), in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The east wing of the building houses the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, while the west wing belongs to the French government since 2002. The current centre of contemporary art opened its doors to the public in March 2002 and since then hosts an interesting programme of artistic exhibitions as well as exclusive events in the fashion industry.
