The Bund

On the west bank of the Huangpu River is The Bund, a 1,500-metre pedestrian waterfront that winds from the Waibaidu Bridge to the Nanpu Bridge and offers an unbeatable view of Pudong, the city’s business district, on the opposite side of the river. The walk features a blend of architectural styles: Gothic, Neoclassical, Baroque, Renaissance…as well as several of the city’s major attractions, including the Customs House, the Financial Square and Huangpu Park, the site of the Monument to the People’s Heroes.
