Clym Evernden is an award winning artist and art director with a unique creative eye, named by The Evening Standard as one of London s most influential people. His signature ink based style encompasses illustration, mixed media, creative video, and set design.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Clym studied Fashion Design prior to working solely as an artist. Clym’s work instantly presents a narrative and brand’s dna to the viewer with effortless clarity – making him an in demand and indispensable collaborator.
For his collaboration
with Massimo Dutti Clym researched the flagship store in Barcelona, and was enchanted by the architecture and magical surroundings.
Clym enjoys a large audience @clymdraws Instagram, and creates ingenious posts such as his series of ‘folded stories’ for his followers. Clym’s creative video ‘Evolution’ has received over 6 million views on instagram. Clym is an internationally respected personality, and has starred in campaigns for Giorgio Armani, GQ, and interviewed for BBC World.
Clym then reimagined the store as a moonlit
wonderland for the gift box designs in his signature ink style, suggesting the iconic facade leads through to a mystical world complete with the moon and stars, and inhabited by a characterful owl
All box designs relate to each other,
and a narrative is told between the owl and the moon, with which he is finally united with in the artwork for the smallest gift box.
