What are your main inspirations and references?

We’ve never looked to any florist as a reference. We’re guided by our own knowledge and instinct, and inspired by the needs of the project and customer.

Tell us which flower you would use for each of these occasions: an anniversary, a dinner party and a thank you gift.

Anniversary: Dahlias, for their diversity of shapes, colours and textures.
Dinner: English roses, for their elegance.
Gift: Helleborus, for their delicacy.

“Design is
crucial, but
from there we
have to let
nature do
its work,
correcting details
or specific needs.”

What is your favourite garden?

A garden with native vegetation, as wild as possible, cared for, but not worked on too much.
Design is crucial, but from there we have to let nature do its work, correcting details or specific needs.

The holidays are around the corner. At this time of year, what flowers do you recommend for the home so that we don’t go wrong? On the other hand, what should we never do when decorating with flowers?

There are very specific flowers for these dates, such as holly, nadalas, eucalyptus with fruit or red astromelia, although we think that we should evolve and innovate in new directions: Ilex, anemones, ranunculus, materials dyed in other tones.
We particularly like anemones, ilex, rose hips, daffodils, buttercups, tulips.

We try to avoid simplicity when selecting our flowers, and we should never distort the composition and shape of our decoration; all materials should be harmonious in terms of colour, texture and shape.

Can you share some recommendations (centrepieces or arrangements) to dress up a traditional table and a minimalist table?

Traditional table centrepiece. – Always including candles, combining gold and red with a base of Christmas greens such as fir, pine, cypress, as well as some pineapple.

Minimalist centrepiece. – A trail bathed in antique gold, candlesticks with tall candles and several stems of the same flower in stands that combine two or three types of flowers.

Every centrepiece, every moment and every table is different.

In a 100% digital age, what does a return to the artisinal imply right now?

We love the return to artisanal and natural origins. The digital world has its uses, but there’s nothing like nature and direct human involvement.

“all
materials
should be
harmonious
in terms of
colour,
texture and
shape. ”

A flower for Massimo Dutti, and why?

We would propose the Helleborus. It is an elegant, delicate flower that can always be customised with an accessory.
