Shops

Join Life

100% of Inditex Group shops have been eco-efficient since 2020, and 60% of our own shops are already connected to our Inergy control system, which is highly energy efficient.

Environmentally efficient flagship stores represent one of the visible faces of Massimo Dutti’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

MASSIMO DUTTI SHOPS

Shops are a pillar of Massimo Dutti’s business model, as the place where customers can get to know the fashion options on offer. Environmental efficiency is a priority in the design of new shops and existing shops are being renovated to meet the brand’s goal of making all shops eco-efficient by 2020.

REUSE AND RECYCLE

Massimo Dutti prioritises the use of recycled and reused materials, with low energy consumption and local supplies. For example, all the wood used in the brand’s eco-efficient shops comes from sustainably and responsibly managed forests.

LEED CERTIFIATION

Three of our stores are LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). The guidelines set by LEED certifications cover aspects related to energy, water, waste, materials, environments, innovation and other sustainability measures.

COMMITMENT

Massimo Dutti has created training programmes on more sustainable practices such as reusing, recycling, reducing energy consumption and water use that help ensure the eco-efficient management of shops.

As part of its social and environmental commitment, Massimo Dutti wants to help customers extend the life of their garments. And to do this, the brand has developed a programme to collect used clothes.

In collaboration with local non-profit organisations, the company recovers garments that are no longer in use and gives them a second life. To do this, customers can drop the clothes they no longer wear in containers in shops, and the Massimo Dutti team will send them to the non-profit organisation in charge of managing garments and developing projects in the community.

This service is currently available in selected stores and work continues so that recyclable clothing can be dropped in any Massimo Dutti shop in the world.
